“You lit up the school for the whole year, not just for the week!”

Ex Cathedra’s
Projects for Schools
Ex Cathedra’s Education team is known for its innovative, exciting and award-winning school singing programmes.

Singing Playgrounds® is the beginnings of group singing. This programme trains children to lead other children in singing-play, establishing a shared singing-play culture for the whole primary school community.

Singing Connections brings the singing-play into the classroom.

SingMaker is our project for in-the-moment exhilarating, joyous (often large) group singing in which children sing their hearts out, move, dance, and laugh.

ChoirMaker keeps children inspired by singing as they move to secondary school and enables teachers to set up a thriving school choir.
“Spend 5 minutes with an Ex Cathedra Vocal Tutor and you’ll want to sing!”

Singing across the world
Testimonials
Here at Shrewsbury HK we have been fortunate enough to have an annual visit from a truly inspiring team from the UK, ‘Ex Cathedra’ who have run some brilliant singing workshops and performances with our students. The team are fantastic at what they do, and the songs are quick to learn, fun to sing, and hugely popular with the students. These songs will make a useful addition to your resource bank through class suspension and beyond (I rarely teach a lesson anymore without making use of something I have picked up from the team). I really can’t recommend them highly enough. If you are in HK and are finding yourself losing the will to live at the end of week ten of online learning, or you are elsewhere in the world…..I can safely say that these songs and videos will be manna from heaven!
